Are there any shows that you don’t watch simply because of your principles?

hulu-logoThe other day, I realized that I was sort of getting away from my roots, so to speak, with this blog. I believe my first entry promised something to the extent of a Christian tech blog, and the first month has revealed more tech blog than Christian.

Of course, part of my vision has been not to be too preachy, but I wonder if perhaps I might err on the other extreme. I’d like to talk more about some more Christian things on future posts, and I’d like to start with one of my favorite subjects: television.

I believe that television habits are changing daily with the advent of watching television online. With sites like Hulu, Crackle, and various other video sharing sites that allow users to watch their favorite television shows when and where they want to. Not to mention DVRs and portable media sharing devices.

Because of these sites, I have realized the wonders of watching TV online, and have exposed myself to many a TV show. Some of them have been quite good, but the other day, I realized how easy it is to watch a TV show that I would normally never watch.
