I’m not certain what to think: Barnes and Noble’s E-book reader
Yesterday, I posted something about how I was crushing a rumor about Barnes and Noble teaming up with Plastic Logic to create an e-book reader. Unfortunately, I don’t know how true that is, because these photos that you see here have leaked onto the net.
This is Barnes & Noble’s e-book reader, and it does have a color screen. However, it also has a 800 x 600 6 inch monochrome e-ink display as well as this color display. The color display is a 480 x 144 color LCD that appears to be for browsing book covers and other content, and it also can transform into a virtual keyboard.
I have decided to shut up about this whole e-book reader from Barnes and Noble until I can obtain reliable information. I’m not suggesting that what I reported on before was from unreliable sources, it’s just that one can only get so far when hearing so many contradicting voices!
