My Review of Beatles Rock Band: It rocks, luv!

62f558b26754183b_beatles-rock-bandI finally managed to get iHarmonix’s Beatles Rock Band, and I will have to say that it is more than just a spin-off of an already popular franchise designed to make money, but it is an experience.

Yeah, I’m not going to deny that Beatles Rock Band is less a product of genuine inspiration rather than a way for Rock Band to become even more huge.

Still, they really put a lot of effort into this endeavor. If you don’t believe me, watch the game’s intro. And if you are going to put out another version of Rock Band with lots of new songs, you might as well use songs that everyone knows and loves.

Playing the songs in the game are like watching videos. The one for “Yellow Submarine” is almost better than that weird animated movie. At times, it was almost distracting if your goal was to hit all the right notes.

All in all, Beatles Rock Band is what we would expect from the Rock Band franchise. Some improvements were made, but I can’t help but wonder how many more versions of Rock Band can be made before the fad will suddenly die.
