The Messengers, Book 1: World’s Apart, Chapter 1

All right, it looks like this science-fiction series is going to get some serious exposure here on The Geek Church.

For those of you who aren’t aware, this is a Christian Science Fiction Series that I have been working on for years. You are going to love it.

Just to let you know, this Chapter 1 technically isn’t the first chapter in this first book. No, that would be the Prologue, which can be read here.

If you want to read any more chapters, feel free to go here. This is a link to a constantly updating post that will eventually contain all of the books in the series. As for this Chapter 1, it’s right after the jump.

Tech News for the Day, Weekend Edition, May 1-2, 2010

I’ll start with something simple Crime Spree for the iPhone and iPod Touch is available free for a limited time. I don’t have the deadline.

The company BumpTop has been purchased by Google.

For those interested in the iPad 3G, iFixit has done a teardown of it.

Motorola has a long-rumored phone called the Shadow. A phone known as the Motorola MB310 could be it.

This is the Hohrizontal 51, which is an iPod speaker and a shelf.

A man received an $18,000 bill from Verizon. Yipes!

A product called Digits are tabs for your gloves that help you navigate a touchscreen, even with gloves on.

The iPad 3G has been jailbroken. Hey!

Lastly, there is an in-vehicle iPad mount from Scosche.
