This is going to be a pretty interesting week. WWDC 2013, Apple’s Worldwide Developers’ Conference, is getting all Macheads in a great frenzy, and E3, the world’s biggest video games conference, should be more than enough for all gamers.

WWDC has announced iOS7, and I find it odd that there will not be a new version of the iPhone this year. At least, it doesn’t look like it will be too different, maybe not even important enough to do a big announcement over it. Speaking of announcements, Tim Cook has announced that iOS 7 will be the biggest change to iOS since the iPhone. Oh man, that is a boast. Anyway, here’s what is new:

This new iOS 7 will apparently know how you hold your phone, and add in some animations. These are probably related to that thing, I guess.

Then there are end-of-screen gestures that allow for jumping between applications, multiple browser tabs or even jumping between messages from an email client.

Folders within iOS 7 will support an endless number of applications.

AirDrop on iOS 7 will allow sharing with iOS users by tapping on a name.

Then there is multitasking feature with a list of icons that will be running in the background.

The Camera is good for four cameras at any given time with the standard camera, video camera, panorama camera, and block camera.

Siri also has a new graphical UI with a sound wave on the bottom of the screen to track one’s voice.

There is a Control Center that can be accessed by swiping upwards.

Okay, that is a lot of new stuff. I suppose we will see a lot more.
