I have always wondered why we haven’t become a holographic society, like what we have seen in speculative fiction films like Star Wars and the like. The Litholo Hologram Kit could be a start of a new era.

The Litholo Hologram Kit enables a user to create full-color holograms in such a way that is not as expensive as most that you see. I’m pretty certain that the hologram on your credit card, which is monochromatic, probably cost a lot to implement. By the way, that hologram is there to protect against forgery.

I don’t know how simple this process of homemade holograms is, but it is relatively inexpensive at under 100 dollars at Amazon. Believe it or not, this was once a Kickstarter project, but I don’t think that is too hard to believe, is it?
