I have reviewed a lot of cool Bluetooth speakers in my time, and I have always wanted to review something from Braven. Yes, that is a hint to my friends who I know represent Braven.
This is the 855s, and it is a 20 watt speaker that is aluminum-based, and it is “the world’s most powerful rugged portable wireless speaker”. When I say aluminum-based, I mean it has aircraft-grade aluminum and has aluminum cone drivers, dual passive radiators, and digitally enhanced audio based on DTS Audio’s SRS WOW tech.
As for the other specs, it has an “impressive” 20 hours of playtime, not to mention Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. As you might have guessed with damp look about it, it is IPX3 water resistant.
