It really isn’t all that often that I review a stand-alone camera here on this site. I guess I just don’t get the memos from Polaroid, Nikon, Olympus, and Kodak. (By the way, Kodak doesn’t make cameras anymore.)
Considering that everyone has cameras on their phones, most people don’t really do the whole stand-alone camera thing. Not only can you take a photo with a camera with a decent amount of Megapixels, but you can share it on social networks like Instagram on the touch of a button.
Q Lifestyle has created theQ, which is a stand alone camera that also has a one-button share capability. It is a 5-Megapixel camera with a 24mm wide-angle lens with an F2.4 aperture. It has a 2.7-inch display, and it is waterproof up to 3 feet. It has nine image filters and 2 GB of internal memory stores, an stores up to 1,000 still images. There is also a Q light which is a flash bulb around the lens.
As you can see in the photo, you can upload theQ pictures to theQ LAB, an adjust the settings and the filters. You can pre-order it here for about $199.
