When I first saw the GameCase, it felt familiar to me. I first thought that I had reported on it before, but I did a Search on my site and found nothing.
I suppose that the closest thing that I have seen was a Wii U controller. After all, it is two halves of a controller (with D-pad, two analog sticks, and console style ABXY buttons) that have a screen sandwiched in between.
The difference between the GameCase and the Wii U is that screen can be an iPad, iPhone, or some other iOS device, and can actually coordinated with an iOS devices’ touchscreen, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
Not only is it compatible with 150,000 gaming apps, but it can be used with Airplay for a larger screen experience.
Now here is the sad part: this device isn’t yet made, but still in development. Man, I really want this now! Oh well, hopefully I will have a release date and price in a follow-up article.
