One of the problems with smartwatches is the screen is so very small. What if there was a way to make the screen bigger? Well, you don’t want to just put a tablet on your wrist, but many small screens that surround your wrist!
This is Nokia’s Facet, and you can watch the video to see six screens. They are all tied together with some weird elastic band that allows them to be easily removable.
You can also see that it is possible to switch from one screen to the other with a simple flick of the finger. I can only assume that each screen is devoted to one function.
Well, I don’t think that this device really has a future. But hey, if someone could make a transparent display that can go around your wrist, we would not need a device like this.
As you might have guessed, this is a concept from Nokia. To me, I have a hard time believing it is real because it kind of looks rather…silly. So Nokia, please don’t make this smartwatch. Let Samsung and Apple do theirs.
