I got the Aftershokz Bluez, and that is a good thing!

October 21, 2013 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

BluezOkay, I have reviewed a lot of headphones, and I have no idea how they can get better. Is it possible to have some sound receiver put in your head? It probably is, but I don’t want it. Instead, I will take the Aftershokz Bluez.

I have reviewed the Aftershokz headphones before, and they are a game-changer due to their use of bone conduction technology. If you aren’t familiar with tech, it is essentially a way of listening to music by simply placing the sound in places other than the ears. Yes, that sounds weird, but yes, it works.

I have never seen any other company embrace this great tech other than Aftershokz, and the Bluez is an excellent addition to their collection. They may look like wearing a pair of sunglasses backwards, but they are very good at getting sound across. Not only that, you can actually hear what is really going on.

This is good because sometimes I don’t want fully immersed sound. I want to hear my wife when she calls for me. I also want my wife to listen to me when I talk to her. I hate saying things twice, the second time because someone is prying off their headphones.

In short, I have to say: Bluez, oh yeah. You can get them on the Aftershokz site for $119.95.
