I will readily admit that I am not a Karaoke connoisseur, but the Singing Machine could easily make me into one. Who knows? After a few years of singing on this, maybe my voice will be worth something.

What you see here is the Singing Machine Home, and it is a speaker the can connect to any Bluetooth enabled device. It can then plug into the TV via HDMI plug and then connects to the cloud wirelessly. This gives the user access to Singing Machine Play, with about 8,000 HD Karaoke music vids with lyrics and everything.

What really makes it worthwhile is that it comes with a remote that doubles as a mic. It has a tracking ball on it that reminds me of those on the BlackBerry, and this allows the user to take control of what song that he or she plays, and puts his or her voice on the speaker.

Now here is the worst part. The Singing Machine won’t be available until late in October at Best Buy for a price of $299. Check out more information about the product here.
