Rayovac doing more than just batteries. Let them charge your mobile devices.

February 12, 2014 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Phone Boost 800I’m sure most of you associate Rayovac with the company that makes batteries, and I generally see them on those endcaps full of batteries for whatever you need. I’m not certain if this is a more recent move, but Rayovac is making devices that charge your mobile devices.

I only had a chance to try out one of these devices, and that is the Phone Boost 800. The version I had a Micro USB, and it is a battery charged via USB. Yes, I have talked about products like these, many times, in fact. The Phone Boost 800 can only give 2 hours of talk time, which means it won’t fully charge your phone. There are other products that can do the same, but they might not fit in your pocket as easily.

There is a PowerPack that hold 2000mAh and 6000mAh, which can probably charge more. Then there is the usual car charger with double USB ports. I won’t bother giving price points on this, but I will tell you that if you want to see more, just head over to the Rayovac site and look at all the products they have there.
