I can honestly say that I can’t say enough about Disney Infinity. If you aren’t familiar with Disney Infinity, I am not certain how I can describe it. I’ll start by saying that it is a game that is many games, and it uses physical objects to interact with virtual ones.

This is very similar to a popular video game series Skylanders which uses action figures that you put on a pad, and it “magically” puts the action figure into the game with special abilities. Players of Disney Infinity to begin with a basic set, which features the game for the console as well as three action figures (Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Sulley from the Monsters Inc. series, and Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles).

Each figurine comes with a small game that you can play and burn a little time. There are also these disc-shaped power-ups, as well as these hexagonal discs which gives all kinds of vehicles and other things to improve one’s gaming world. In addition to the playtime, the Disney Infinity game is also a creative place where you can place buildings, vehicles, and other kinds of accessories to create a huge world.

In short, the game of Disney Infinity is to create a world. This world can be transported from the console to the PC or iPad. It is a world that praises creativity and exploration, and even though it costs as much as two games at about $79.95, there is enough material in here for ten games.
