Now that the Galaxy S 5 will be released in April, and the iPhone 6 is most definitely on its way, I don’t know what more we can do with phones that hasn’t been done before. I mean, do we need to see more of the “oh, it’s a complete touchscreen” model that has been done to death since the first version of the iPhone?
Perhaps this concept model shows where smartphones are heading. As you can see from the video above, you can see that it is possible to open an app and “flick” it to the side. Granted, the phone has to be on a surface like a table to make it work, but it certainly spreads out to something like a tablet.
What is really interesting is how the center of the screen can be a hologram, and I am not certain how that will work. I can understand some of the glasses-free 3D, but stuff showing up in the middle of the screen seems odd to me.
Well, I can’t wait to see if this ever comes to pass. Perhaps it will be the iPhone X. The X meaning 10. So what is that, like five years down the road?
