As many of you know, I am always reporting on crowdfunded projects, but this would be the first time that I am reporting on a crowdfunded book. This isn’t the first or last time that I have reported on a book, because I have written about my own books here. And yes, mine is coming soon.

This potential book “Growing Up Alaska” is pretty interesting to me because it deals with a land that I have never visited, but probably should: Alaska. I’ve always found Alaska a pretty cool place, even if the movie Alaska wasn’t so good. The film is worth watching because you get to hear Charlton Heston pronounce the word “bear” in the most sinister way.

Anyway, I happen to know this author, and she is pretty talented. She has a lot to say, and if you don’t believe me, check out Spokandyland.com. I know very little of Tok, Alaska, but something tells me that this book will really put it on the map the way Napoleon Dynamite made Preston, Idaho a tourist trap.

I highly recommend going to the donation site at Indiegogo site and laying down some money for it so “Growing Up Alaska” will shine.
