Now that we are on our second Kingston product, this is where I would like to discuss the first of Kingston’s gaming headset with the HyperX Cloud Stinger.
Now, this is billed as “an ideal headset for gamers looking for lightweight comfort”, and I am going to agree with that. Seriously, it is very light compared to some of the gaming headsets that I have reviewed in the past.
It is also very versatile. It says that it is good for the PC, Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, Mac, and Mobile. I can’t remember the last time I saw something with that much compatibility on the box.
You are also going to get a better fit because this has ear cups that can rotate at a 90-degree angle for a great fit. It has some HyperX signature memory foam, with a volume control on the headset ear cup. Speaking of volume, the sound is also good since it has 50 mm directional drivers that can position sound directly into the ear for gaming-grade sound and audio precision.
Oh, it also has a swivel-to-mute noise-cancellation microphone. You should be able to get the HyperX Cloud Stinger on the Kingston site, and it will cost about $49.99.
