Okay, we are going to conclude our E-Blox trilogy with a review of this Circuit Blox Review. Granted, my review of the Power Blox and Story Blox was combined into one, but the Circuit Blox review is worth one review.
The Circuit Blox is kind of a mix of two educational toys: LEGO and circuit boards. I’m not certain how educational building blocks are, but I’m hoping that some of you remember circuit board toys. For those who don’t remember, they often had wires and things for all kinds of fun stuff. You know, you can make radios or something.
Now, a lot of circuit building toys are made so you can link complex wires, but the Circuit Blox is made so it links like Lego. The purpose is that you can link stuff together to make circuits, so lights can literally light up.
There all kinds of projects that you can build with the Circuit Blox, as about 120 of them. So there are a lot of switches, an FM receiver, alarms, and much more. There are about 46 different blocks, and they are made so different circuits like and/or and much more complex operations can take place.
It’s pretty clear that the Circuit Blox is made for STEM education, but their website says it is compatible with building blocks. It doesn’t look that way, as I have tried it with a LEGO and they don’t fit. So far, that is the only drawback, and it only costs about $43.99 (Three AA batteries not included).
