Okay, now that we are about to start Black Friday, I am sure that it is time to start thinking about gift ideas. For some reason, the more electronic ones are the kinds that fly off the shelf, and although this one is pretty expensive, I am going to recommend the Nebula Capsule Max from Anker, a company that we have reviewed several times.

The Capsule Max is a party-maker. I don’t know how to say it any other way. I had chance to prove it as my daughter wanted to have a movie party on her seventeenth birthday, and this was it.

Setting up was very simple. All that was required was just to turn it on, and the huge image was put right up against the wall. It could go up to 100 inches, and it was visible in low-light environments. I was pretty fascinated by the Capsule Max very clear auto-focus, and I am not at all sure what tech enabled that.

Another surprise was how I could turn the projector at a slight angle, and I would still get a straight-on impression. Considering that it is often difficult to get a good image off of this product, it really helped.

Now, the Capsule Max has this Android 8.1 menu that allows the user to access streaming networks like YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu. You can use the controls on top to navigate, or you can also use the included remote. Oh, I should probably tell you that there is an application that you can install on your mobile device that allows it to become a controller as well. I’ll need to let you know that the app wasn’t always good at syncing with the Capsule Max all the time.

I will also say that even though it was possible to hook up the Capsule Max via Wi-Fi, this doesn’t meant that you can find everything you want to watch like you can on the Internet. For example, I just recently got Disney Plus, and even though it is possible to download an app for this via the App Manager on the Capsule Max, it wasn’t just possible now.

Still, it can do an image of 100 inches max (9,700 mAh), which makes it like a home theater in your home. You might want to hook up a soundbar, as the speaker is 8 Watts. Also, if you want to hook up a game system or DVD player, there is an HDMI port. I would also recommend getting a tripod, as there is one of those universal screw mounts at the bottom. It came in handy.
