Our Review of the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX for Xbox (and other things too)

April 16, 2022 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

So, this is not the first time that I have reviewed a Turlte Beach product, and not even the first time that I have reviewed a Stealth 600 Gen 2 product, and this is the MAX.

These particular gaming headphones are the wireless kind, and they require one of those USB dongles to get to work. Now, the box says that it is made for the Xbox, but I actually don’t have one. Yeah, I’ve got the PS4 and Switch, but not the Xbox Series X or even the S edition, so sue me!

Now, I will have to say that the moment I plugged it in, I could get it to work, and I powered up and charged the headphones and everything. It turns out there is a switch on that USB dongle, and it worked right away after that.

I walked across the room to sit on the couch and play some Super Mario Odyssey, and I found that the sound on the headphones would cut out and come back. So I decided to play a little bit closer, and then when back to my couch. I didn’t have any problem with syncing it after that.

So, it has a 48 hour battery life, and the sound is quite good with 50 mm speakers and surround sound. I forgot to mention that there is a Gen 2 Mic for clear chatting, and it is flip-to-mute.

You should be able to purchase the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX in white camo, black, and midnight red for $129.99 on the Turtle Beach website.
