Normally, I usually end my articles with a video, but I felt that I should start with this particular video, which needs an introduction. Some time in the eighties, Deep Woods Off decided that the best way to advertise their products was to shove some shirtless man in a tent with 10,000 mosquitoes. It was to prove how well the product works, and apparently it worked so well, they did a “return sequel” 15 years later.

The reason why I bring up that ad is because most of us deal with mosquito bites or any kind of bug bites or stings with prevention in mind. Nothing is really marketed toward what happens when you inevitably get bit or stung. That is, until Bite Away.

Bite Away is a cool little ceramic stick which is designed to treat the bite, after it has happened. You put this stick on the sting itself, push a button, and you can feel it working on the bite, because it gives you a 124 degree feeling. So it works without chemicals
