Our Twinkly Review, Part 1: Candies Lights

February 11, 2024 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

So, I think we are heading into an era where we are satisfied with Christmas/holiday lights on all the time. I have to admit, I do like seeing them at the holidays, because seeing them all year makes them not special. I think it is probably smart to take them down if they are on the outside, but as far as inside, that is up to you. Especially if you can make them look very cool, and that is where Twinkly comes in.

Twinkly is a company that I saw at CES, which is just two weeks after Christmas ended. I was very amazed at what you can do these Twinkly Candies, and that is really only one of these particular products.

So yes, these are Christmas/holiday lights, but I feel that this is just one option. A lot of rooms could use a nice cozy glow, and the Candies are just that.

Now, if you want to put them up, you will not be able to just plug them in an outlet. Actually, you can plug them into an outlet, but you will need a USB-C adapter, because at the end of the Candies string of lights is a USB-C.

Also at the end of a light is a switch, which allows for switching the some kind of variety. You can see in the video for the minimal amount of patterns that you can do with it.

You will have to download the app if you want to do more complex patterns, and they include some random flashes, or a pattern where the lights travel from one end to the other, repeatedly.

Here is where Twinkly really shines. Using the app, you can take a picture of the pattern that you form on your wall, tree, or whatever you put on the Candies. This is where you can see patterns on the lights, controlling every little light as possible. I really wanted to do something interesting, but I couldn’t do it with just a 100 string.

We definitely want to review more Twinkly products for sure, and if we get some, you had better believe that there will be a part 2 here.

Facts About The Company

Twinkly is a brand that is created by Italian tech company Ledworks, and it is a global brand revolutionizig the world of decorative lighting with very great technologically advanced products.

What Does This Company Make?

As far as these cool style of lights are concerned, they make the Candies that come in shakes like hearts and stars as well as the pearls that I reviewed on the video.

There are also the cluster and string style, which is just the lights in a line. Then there are the curtain and icicle style, which looks like lines. There is also some squares which can light up very well behind screens and stuff, and then there is this flex line and stuff.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

Well, as I mentioned on the video, I did review something from GE Cync that was like a line, and I want to review the Twinkly product.
