Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
I believe that I first saw this at CES 2024, and I believe that the company that represented it was Netvue. It took me a while before I actually did a formal review of it, as when I went to my bookmark for it, I couldn’t find it on the Netvue page. I don’t know if Birdfy is the company who makes this Smart Bird Feeder, but I certainly really like this product, which is essentially a bird feeder with a camera for viewing your avian visitors.
Yeah, I have no idea why I waited so long to set this up after I unboxed it. I think that part of it was because I don’t like drilling things, and I thought I would have to do that. It turns out, there are several ways to mount the Birdfy, and one of them was just using those hose clamp things. I don’t really know any reason why I should go too much into detail about how many ways you can mount this.
The setup of the Birdfy is much simpler than I thought it was. Part of it was just turning it on and syncing with the app. Yes, you need a darn account for it, because that’s who we are now. Right now, I can look at my smartphone and see live footage of this feeder, and it will start automatically recording if it senses something in front of the camera.
Once its mounted, all you need to do is dump in the bird seed, and hopefully birds will come to see you. I say hopefully, because I wasn’t able to get decent footage for the video, but I got some footage of my own. I’m told that there are 6000 plus species of birds that can be identified.
I really do like this product, and if you like birds, and you want to get some of them on film in the comfort of your home, then I am going to recommend the Birdfy. At the time of this writing, it appears to be a very low price.
Facts About The Company
Like I said before, I thought that this was from a company called Netvue. I don’t really know if the Birdfy product is even affiliated with him anymore.
What Does This Company Make?
I see that there are baby monitors and other kinds of cameras from Netvue, but I think I would better check out Birdfy. At Birdfy, it is all about the bird feeders not to mention the cameras made to spot them. I’d say it is “for the birds”, but this would imply something inferior, but Birdfy seems pretty superior.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Seriously, I don’t know much about smart bird feeders, and this is the first time I have reviewed anything like this.
