Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
I finally got a chance to review a OneOdio product! I beleive that I first encountered them at CES, and I saw them this year last January. I think I mentioned in the video how their booth had a DJ there who was really great, and I wish I could find the footage. If I did, I could see if the DJ was using the Studio Max 1 DJ Wireless.
In case you are simply just not aware, there is a difference between DJ Headphones and the regular type. I am told that a pair of DJ Headphones means “greater control of your EQ, FX and the overall sound of your mix”. Yeah, I kind of Googled that “fact”, but I kind of wish that I knew more about DJ Headphones, or could do some DJ-ing. Yes, the Studio Max 1 was developed in collaboration with Arianna, who is apparently one of Italy’s top 5 DJs.
If you have seen my unboxing, then you know that it comes with a Transmitter M1, which allows you to connect the Studio Max 1 to advanced audio equipment for some good syncing action. The transmitter has 4 hours of daily use, and can last 10 to 15 days on a single charge. It’s also fast-charging, with 2.5 hours of use from just 5 minutes of charging.
Speaking of charging, the OneOdio Studio Max 1 has a 120-hour ultra-long battery life. That really comes in handy for when you use it wirelessly, and I found it very good in Bluetooth mode. Oh, you can go wired with it if you want, and it comes with the 6.35 adapters, which I like a whole lot.
Another thing that deserves to be liked is the Rapid Will+ (Rapid Wireless Low Latency Link) which can offer 20ms connection speed, and there is some ultra-fast, real-time audio. It is good for mixing, scratching, or cueing tracks, and again, I wish I knew more about DJ-ing.
If you want to get it, head over to the OneOdio site and pay $169.99 for it.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Well, I have certainly reviewed a lot of Headphones in my time, so I invite you to look. Very few are DJ type, but few of them are as high quality as this one.
