Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
It seems like I have been seeing a lot of Smart Bird Feeders, and this is the third I have reviewed in the space of a year. I’ll discuss how it compares to the other two, but for now, let’s talk about what makes it different.
For starters, the V-Feeder is, as the name implies, made of metal. In my video review of this product, where I do a setup and a demonstration of the video, I compared the look of this product to that of a cathedral, and I totally stand by that. One of the things that I admire about the metal construction is the roof clicks into place magnetically, so this is how to put the bird seed in. In case you are concerned, it is weather-proof, rust-resistant, and it is also (wait for it) chew proof.
It’s very simple to put the camera on, and you can also put this included solar panel to charge the thing. I tried to show how easy the set-up is in the video, but I kind of skipped to it mounted on a tree. I used this L-shaped bracket and then attached it to the tree with these big hose clamps. From there, it was easy to fill up the feeder and mount it.
Of course, you need to download the app, and then you have to sync it to your Wi-Fi. It can apparently identify over 11,000 bird species, and then it can send real-time alerts to a mobile phone itself. I believe that you will need some kind of subscription for this, and I noticed that this device won’t work without an SD card.
Now, I have to admit that I don’t know how this app knew it, but when a squirrel invaded my V-Feeder, it knew! Like, there was an alert that happened automatically, one that I had to shut off, honestly. I kind of wish that the squirrels would be afraid of all the noise that it makes, but this stupid squirrel just insists on eating its fill.
The bird footage looked pretty good, as it has 2.5K UHD Resolution. There is massive cloud storage for 365-day retention. So, if you want this, you can get it for a reduced price. I don’t want to say what the reduction is, but here’s where you can purchase it on the VINGUYS site.
Facts About The Company
I have to say that I looked at the VINGUYS website, and as far as I can tell, it would appear that what I see is that they make a lot of bird feeders. Their name comes from a combination of “wing” and “guys”, because they are passionate about conservation and ecological balance.
What Does This Company Make?
Didn’t I just say that this company just makes bird feeders? Well, they’re ones made of all kinds of materials, and ones for hummingbirds too. I think there are ones that can protect from squirrels, too.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
Like I said, I have reviewed two Smart Bird Feeders before this one. The first that I reviewed was the Birdfy, which I received in January of last year, but wasn’t able to review in the summer of 2024. Then there was the Birdbuddy, which I reviewed just recently.
