Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
I first saw Restful at CES 2025, and I have been wanting to review their bulb for a long time. We finally had a chance, and we were able to check out the Bedtime Bulb V2 (version 2) for ourselves.
In fact, we had a chance to use it with a dimmer, and I did my best to show it in the video below. However, it is something that is difficult to film, because I recommend that you be in the room with it.
So here are some of the main features: the first is iRadient, which brings the infrared light into your sleep space. A traditional incandescent light might not be able to bring that, and in some cases, a standard LED might not bring that at all.
There is also LessBlue 2.0, a breakthrough technology that reduced sleep-disrupting blue and green light while preserving the natural color. Version 2 is made to increase red light as you dim, and blue light fades away naturally.
What is supposed to happen is that you replace the lighting you use in the evening, so you use it in the 1-3 hours before bed, and then you gradually dim it down before you go to sleep. The whole light is made to reduce flicker as well, and it is very low energy as well.
Restful has a whole load of great products, like the Atmos, which I forgot to put in the video. I was supposed to gesture to it, but I forgot to put in the still shot. You can see the image here.
You should head to the Restful website and see what else you can get.
Facts About The Company
I didn’t really see an “About Us” on the Restful website, but it would appear that this company makes a lot of great bulbs made for a…restful time.
What Does This Company Make?
In addition to the Bedtime Bulb, they have the Atmos, which is a seriously great light.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I have reviewed bulbs in the past, but nothing made to aid in sleeping. Not certain that I can help with this one.
