Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
The last time that I reviewed a product from Grip2U, I mentioned that we didn’t really review anything for the iPhone 15. It would appear that this isn’t the case now, as we received a few for the new iPhone 17 models, and a few given for the iPhone 15 models, and our response: how nice.
Our Review of the Grip2U SLIM for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max
So, the SLIM has that trademark elastic strap from Grip2U, and it also has the MagSafe capability. The MagSafe creates this weird parenthesis effect around the elastic band.
I’m not certain why the official website doesn’t have much information about this. Generally, most of the cases that I review usually have figures like what they are drop-tested from. Fortunately, I read the back of the product and it is apparently not Drop Tested, but it is also Dual Layer design.
By the way, you can also change the band, and I think I once had a few bands that I got from a Grip2U booth at CES, but that was years ago.
If you want to get the Slim for the iPhone 17 Pro, head here. If you are wanting one for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, go here.
Our Review of the Grip2U SLIM for the iPhone 15 Pro Max
Like I said before, there wasn’t much information on the website about the Slim for the iPhone 17 models. However, there was quite a bit of info on the iPhone 15 version.
Apparently, there is an ultra thin design with a TPU protective layer, for seamless protection for the phone without any bulk. There is a front bezel and camera bezle and antimicrobial protection for a built-in Prevent The Drop grip design. Oh, and it does wireless charging.
You should be able to purchase it for a price of $29.99 on the Grip2U website.
Our Review of the Grip2U BOOST Kickstand for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max
Okay, the BOOST not only has that elastic strap, but that very cool kickstand. Now, I have reviewed cases that have kickstands before, most recently from CASETiFY, and I think I did at one from UAG. Definitely that one from TORRAS.
What makes this particular BOOST Kickstand interesting is how it is kind of double-jointed. Most of the time, it is one single fold out thing. I show on the video what type of Kickstand it is, and I hope that it really highlights how good it is.
You can get the BOOST for the iPhone 15 Pro here and the one for the iPhone 15 Pro Max here.
Facts About The Company
So, I checked on the “Our Story” section, and I found out it is “Born in Baltimore, designed in California”. And yeah, they really formed on the basis of preventing the drop. I don’t know why they didn’t use the grip2u.com website, but I’m guessing that it was taken.
What Does This Company Make?
Pretty much the cases with the straps on them, and some without straps. Seriously, I think that is about it.
Just the Specs, Man
If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!
Once again, I have to say that I don’t know why the website did not have more information on these cases for the iPhone 16. Perhaps it is because the product is so new.
If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I’m going to simply ask you to look up CASETiFY, UAG, TORRAS, Gadget Guard, Atom Studios, and more! I mean, I look at a lot of cases, and I’m probably going to look at more of them.
