Supcase and iBlason Review: UB Grip for iPhone 17 Models, AirPods, and Apple Watch

November 15, 2025 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Yes, we reviewed SUPCASE products before, and this time, we have five cases to look at for the Apple Watch, AirPods, the new iPhone 17 models. Oh, and we also have a case from iBlason.

Our Review of the Supcase Apple Watch Unicorn Beetle PRO XT Rugged Metal Watch Band Case

I’ll start off with this cool Apple Watch Unicorn Beetle PRO XT Rugged Metal Watch Band. I will tell you that it is a pretty strong and very protective two-in-one case and wristband.

Not only that, there is a double tongue buckle for a secure lock, and if you want to use the wireless charge type of connectivity, you can! Yeah, I would have to say that is it made for the “Rugged” crowd, but it is also fashionable as well.

You can get it on the Supcase site for about $41.99 in a few different colors.

So, this guy, this guy, he is made for the AirPods Pro 3. He is going to be great at giving you some serious protection. I mean, it is IP68 waterproof with a plug and double-lock design.

It also has a solid hard-shell TPU with PC materials for drop protection. There is a carabiner, and a lot of locks on this thing that will keep it closed. I mean, it is a full 360 degrees worth of protection here, man! Oh, and it is also good for wireless charging.

You can get it on the Supcase site for $39.99.

So now I’m getting into the cases that we are reviewing, and there are quite tough. It is for the iPhone Air, and do I need to say iPhone Air 17, or is that good enough?

This guy has 15 feet of drop protection, as well as an anti-slip textured grip. I should also mention the cool ring kickstand that it has, because that is good for lots of propping things up, right? There is also an integrated camera control button, so that is all good!

You should be able to get it on the Supcase site for about $33.99.

Okay, I’m going to talk about the Unicorn Grip Pro for the iPhone 17 Pro, and it is a Rugged Case that has a lot of the same features. It has a semi-transparent back that can resist fingerprints.

It also has the cool kickstand, so that is a very good thing, is it not? Especailly if it works in portrait and landscape mode. Not only that, it is completely MagSafe compatible. Then there is the textured sides, as well as that integrated camera button that I have been hearing a lot about.

You should be able to get this on the Supcase site for a price of about $40.99.

So, this is great product made for the iPhone 17. It has military grade protection that is MIL-STD-810H certified at drop resistance of 20 feet, and it has some serious anti slip grip.

It also has two big bonuses. The first is that it has a cool kickstand that is adjustable to 50 degrees landscape and 60 degrees portrait for viewing, so this is going to be just awesome! There is also a really great 360 detachable hoster, one that you can just snap in your phone with case. That’s pretty cool.

You can purchase it on the Supcase site for a price of $33.99.

Our Review of the iBlason ARES FLIP Series iPhone 17 Pro Max Magsafe Camera Control Button Case

And now let’s shift gears to iBlason, which I believe is related to Supcase, somehow. I’m told that this case is good for 20 feet of drop protection, and it is scratch-resistant PC + TPU bumpers.

Oh, there is also a building in screen protector, and the case is very much MagSafe compatible. It certainly looks that way, for sure, and I have to admit that I really like the looks of it, as it is somewhat minimalist, and yet gives a whole lot of protection.

You can get it on the iBlason site for a price of $39.99.

Facts About The Company

Supcase is a company that is based in Atlanta, GA, and they are rugged cases that exceed MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standards. Apparently, this company is big into protection, and I believe they are also related to i-Blason and Mumba.

What Does This Company Make?

I’m seeing protection for phones, tablets, smart watches, earbuds, MacBook, and even gaming things like the Nintendo Switch and the Switch 2.

Just the Specs, Man

If you’re the type that needs this info, this section is for you!

There’s not a lot that I can say about this, so I’ll leave it blank.

If there is something on this that I didn’t cover, please let me know.

Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

For that, just look at all the smartphone cases that I have reviewed, because there are a whole stinking lot of them.
