Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
Well, we had a chance to review two of Lepro’s products. One of them I was really excited about is the AI Powered Permanent Lights, and once I received both of them, I got pretty excited about the TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp.
Our Review of the Lepro E1 AI Powered Permanent Lights
Oh man, I barely got this review done in time for the holiday season. That is the bad news, as I do like to do my reviews in a timely manner. The good news is that these are permanent lights from Lepro known as the E1.
Yes, you know those Christmas lights that you put up every year, and then you have to take down? Well, all you need to do is just put these up, and you can just leave them up. So after Christmas is over, you can switch them to a New Years Day setting with whatever colors that you want! So when that Valentines Day rolls around, you better believe that I’ll be doing reds and pinks. Then with March, I’m going with many shades of greens for St. Patrick’s Day! Then Easter, with…you see what I’m saying.
You should probably know that I had issues mounting these, which would explain why I’m so way close to the holidays when doing this post. The trick is that you have to put these things in such a way so the light spreads out a bit, like in a triangle below the light. The way I had to mount them was underneath my awning, but fortunately, there was some sticky 3M adhesive there. The screws that it came with was a little bit difficult to work with, so I think I resorted to tacks. I found that these were put to the test because there was a huge windstorm, not to mention some rain and snow, hence why this posting was so late.
But I’ve already described that. In case you are wondering, you can control these light functions thanks to the Lepro app, which comes with some AI. It’s pretty great AI, as you can just say something like: “I want Christmas”, and it will give you some patterns that you can select. That AI works pretty well, and isn’t just AI for the sake of AI. I’m told that you can even use the photo to create something.
Now, these lights are IP65 waterproof, and they work in extreme temperatures, like -4 degrees F to 140 degrees F. You can string a lot of these together to really decorate your house, and there are a lot of patterns like blinking and such. You can purchase these in various lengths on the Lepro site for various prices.
Our Review of the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp
Now I will say that the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Lamp has a lot in common with the E1 lights. That is, they are programmable, but this one can be programmed a little bit differently.
When I did the video, I described the shape of the TB1 as being like an atom, I don’t think I could have done it better, really. I mean, there might not be a nucleus, but there is a definite movement of electrons, assuming you have it programmed in this fashion.
I think I forgot to talk about the AI functionality in the video. Whoops. I’m going to assume that it works like the E1 lights, and you can do that thing where you take a photo to get a vibe. I’m loving this.
Right now, I have the AI Smart Table Lamp by my television, and it changes its lighting depending on the sounds that are around it. I really do wish I could figure out how to put this atop a Christmas tree.
I couldn’t find the TB1 on the Lepro site, but I did find it on Amazon.
Facts About The Company
So, I’m seeing that this company loves to be “redefining light with AI”. Considering that there is a lot things related to lighting with this company, I beleive it.
What Does This Company Make?
I’m seeing a whole bunch of lighting stuff with this, like lamps, and bulbs, and things, all made smarter.
Okay, Get To The Unboxing Already!
Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?
I think there is a company that does stuff like this, like from GE Lighting.
