I first saw Kinyo at CES last January, and I was pretty impressed with their products. I have tried out the Phyre PA-550 Multimedia Speakers and the Trilleon 2.0 Universal Sound Tablet System.
I have found that Kinyo has created some interesting sound, and the AW-630 is capable of about 60 Watts worth of Total Power Output. If that spec means something to you, then let me throw in another: it has a 5.25-inch long-throw woofer to deliver a low frequency base.
Hooking up the subwoofer was simple as it comes with the stereo analog (left and right) RCA inputs which plug into any audio output. After I plugged in the AW-630 into the TV and plugged the cord into the wall, it worked beautifully.
I found that although the AW-630 was small in its size, it did not diminish the sound of the boom. It made for some banging sound for what I was watching, and can liven up any home theater set-up.
I wasn’t able to find a lot of detail on the $100 AW-630 subwoofer on the Kinyo site, but I was able to find it on Amazon for about $75.
