Black and Decker’s Gyro Rechargeable Screwdriver makes you the opposite of being screwed

January 28, 2013 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

I think that all of us do or should own an electronic screwdriver. One of the things that I don’t like about them is that although they make jobs easy, I often get confused about what direction the head is spinning.

Oftentimes this results in screws going deeper when they should, or unscrewing when they should go deeper. Then you have to fiddle with the reverse/forward direction switch. The Black and Decker Gyro Rechargeable Screwdriver is different because it knows righty-tighty, lefty-loosey as good as the user.

All that is required is just grip the Gyro tightly and spin it to either screw or unscrew. There is an accelerometer inside that will spin slowly or fast depending on how far you twist your wrist. It actually spins in the direction that you turn it manually.

It even has an LED work light in case you need a little more…illumination! Yeah, I stole that intro from Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Phantom of the Opera, but hey, I am excited about this product and think it is a handyman’s friend.

Yes, I will praise this 4V MAX Gyro Rechargeable Screwdriver, and I hope you believe my headline. Buy it, and you are the opposite of screwed. You can quote me on that. You can get it for an MSRP of $40.
