Today, I am going to review a very popular case known as Trident. I had a chance to try out the Cyclops Military edition for the Galaxy S5 and the Aegis Wallet case for the iPhone 6.
I believe that this is called the Cyclops case because it has a hole in it for the Galaxy S5 lens. Oh wait, every smartphone case has that. There is a Trident label in the middle that looks like an eye, so maybe that is where the name is derived from. Okay, I just don’t know.
This is military case, and it is military tested and decorated. I believe you can get it for any branch of the armed services, and it is good for protection against drops, dust, vibration, and rain. Then there is a lanyard loop, but the lanyard isn’t included.
Okay, you should be able to get the Military Edition, Cyclops, on the Trident site for about $49.95.
Here’s another one called the Aegis, which means shield. It is set up for drop protection with two layers.
It is set up for holding three cards, and we have seen things like this before. Yes, you can hold your credit cards like a wallet, because we are slowly moving away from wallets and to our smartphones with mobile payments.
Anyway, it is really lightweight but tough protection, and the Aegis Wallet Case for the iPhone 6 is available for $39.95 on the Trident site.
