Some of you might remember when I covered the Epic from Celluon Store, a laser-projected keyboard that you can type on for a smartphone or tablet. Now the Dex Type wants to take the concept of typing on a tabletop keyboard and remove the keyboard.
As you can see in the image, the user is simply moving his or her fingers, and then the proper letters and numbers will appear. This is possible with the magic of Leap Motion technology, a product that we have covered before and had the potential to change a lot of things.
According to my Source, the actual typing experience on the Dex Type might seem sluggish, but it does have a good autocorrect engine. My Source also states that you can draw what you want to say on the screen. I really wish that my Source had gone into more detail about that one.
So, if you have a Leap Motion, you can pick it up on the Chrome Web Store for free until August 7th. After that, you can get a free version with ads, along with a $4.99 paid version.
