It is pretty clear that our younger ones are playing more electronic toys rather than real physical toys. Yeah, I probably didn’t even need to say that, because I’ve seen PSAs saying the same thing since the days of Pac-man. This Indiegogo project really encourages physical play, with mobile technology playing along.
You can watch the video to see this Spanish family put these clips on ordinary playground equipment. This clip syncs to a mobile device via Bluetooth, and you can use a free app to play a game on the phone with the playground equipment. For example, you can use a slide or a swing to move a character in a game, and this is just the beginning.
Here’s the real interesting feature: the user can actually program games for the playground. This is great for parents and teachers, and is definitely for schools.
