Hopefully, we will be reporting on CES 2017 soon, but I want to emphasize how important it is to go to every corner of CES. I actually believe that the first stop was at a booth for LAZY-HANDS Grips, and I finally got a chance to do a hands-on review.

Yes, it is a bad joke to say that, but I had a chance to try out two of their products, and I will start with the one for the smartphone. If you haven’t figured this out yet, the LAZY-HANDS Grips allows for one-handed use on your mobile device.

All that is required is to just to stick on the velcro loop tape, and then you have the knuckles with the hook tape. (Actually, I always get the hook and loop sections mixed up, honestly.) Just to let you know, the finger holders are pretty small on my fingers, and I don’t think I have big hands. Because you know what they say about guys with big hands…I’ll move on.

You can see the Heavy-Duty 4-Loop grips made for the Microsoft Surface, and they basically work the same way. Yeah, there’s a bigger patch of velcro there, but you got the knuckles.

In case you think that this is some big idea from some big corporation, that is where you will be wrong. It was the inspiration of a couple in Colorado who realized that it is difficult to hold a mobile device like a Kindle. I applaud Christine and Danny Potter for their ingenuity.
