Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

So, this would be the first pair of boots that I have ever reviewed, and I don’t predict it will be my last. I am also hoping that this won’t be my last pair of Brunt boots, but considering that these look like they are built to last, it might be a while before I get another pair.

So, the other day, I get an email asking me to review some boots, and I figured: yeah, I could use a new pair. Of course, I realize that I’m probably going to need new footwear before the new boots arrive, so I had to get shoes. Needless to say, they showed up, and then I tried them on and you can see it in this video below.

If you have never heard of Brunt, I will have to say that I am with you on that. Heck, I keep wanting to say “Burnt”, like something that is burned, which explains the pauses in my videos. This Marin 6-inch Comp Toe is made for “workers across a variety of trades”.

Let’s talk about what this is made of: barnyard-resistant leather sources from Texas steer, and it is completely waterproof loaded with hard-wearing durability. The Marin has a innovative slip, oil, and heat resistant rubber outsole and a lightweight and non-metallic composite toe.

So what else can I say about the Marin Comp Toe boot? Well, it is a 6-inch height, a nano composite safety toe, and it is 572 Degrees F Heat Resistant Sole. Man, I can’t even believe it can get this hot.

If you watch my video, then you can see me reading the inside of the box. It is a message from Eric Girouard, the Founder and CEO, and I’m pretty certain that I pronounced his name incorrectly. He wanted to build a company to make high quality comfortable work boots and clothes. It is pretty clear that he did succeed.

Brunt not only make boots, but they make apparel and accessories. They got pants, hoodies, T-shirts, jackets, and it is pretty cool, really.
