ZAGG Omni Review: 5 Cases and 3 Screen Protectors!

November 27, 2022 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

We have reviewed a lot of great ZAGG products in the past, and it feels like every time around the holidays we have another Omni review. This could be our omni review for this year, but we might be getting more. We have about eight individual items, with three screen protectors and five cases.

Our Review of the ZAGG Invisible Shield Glass XTR2 for iPhone 14/13/13 Pro

To start our reviews of screen protectors, we’re going with the Glass XTR2, which is made of Hexiom impact technology, which I am told is 10 percent stronger than its predecessor. I’m told that it is seamless, and goes from edge-to-edge.

I haven’t had much success doing videos of screen protectors, so I’ll just get into the other features including an ultra-smooth surface and an anti-dust adhesive. By the way, the Glass XTR2 has a screen repair guarantee which is a one-time screen repair up to $250 if your phone screen happens to get damaged with the screen protector on the device.

Oh yes, it also has a new screen treatment that decreases surface reflections and increases the light transmitted to improve screen clarity and color vibrance, which can make dark colors deeper and bright colors more vivid. There is also enhanced blue light filtration with an enhanced Eyesafe layer that filters 40 percent of intense blue light.

You can purchase the XTR2 on the ZAGG website for about $59.99.

Our Review of the ZAGG Invisible Shield Fusion Eco for the iPhone 14, iPhone 13/13 Pro

I have to admit that the Fusion Eco is very different than most screen protectors that I have seen. I mean, it is a very strong material, and it is also flexible.

The Fusion Eco also has a special anti-microbial treatment for extra protection. Speaking of protection, the Fusion Eco has the amazing ability to absorb and disperse the force of an impact to protect the screen, and has a glass-like feel.

It is also made of plant-based materials, which lives up to the Eco in its name. I believe that this protector works with the Eden Reforestation Project, so if you buy this screen protector, you plant a tree.

If you are interested in buying the Fusion Eco, head on over to the ZAGG site and pay $49.99 for it.

Our Review of the ZAGG Invisible Shield Glass Elite Anti-Glare for iPhone 14 Pro Max

So, I’m not certain what makes this last screen protector that we have for you today stand out, but I am told that it is “our strongest glass screen protection ever”. That, I have to say, is one big benefit for it. And it is 5 times stronger than traditional glass screen protection.

I will tell you that it has a matte finish that is designed to prevent glare from direct light. Oh, there is also an anti-microbial treatment as well as some ClearPrint technology for a smudge-free screen.

So, if you want this type of protection, head on over to the ZAGG site and pay $44.99 for it.

Our Review of the ZAGG Gear4 Denali Snap for the iPhone 14

I’m not certain why this case is called the Denali Snap, but it might have something to do with its slim design. After all, it is a snap. By the way, Denali is another name for Mt. McKinley.

I have to say that the pattern on here kind of looks like mountains. It certainly is made so it gives a no-slip grip. The Denali is made of recycled plastic and has been given an antimicrobial treatment.

The Denali Snap is made to protect from a 16 foot drop, and I have to admit that is pretty high. If you want to get this for yourself, head on over to the ZAGG site and pay $59.99 for it.

Our Review of the ZAGG Gear4 Crystal Palace Snap for the iPhone 14

I have to admit that Crystal Palace Snap does have quite a nice ring to it, but what does this case have that other ones do not? To start, it has 50 percent recycled content. I am told that the use of what the company calls Tritan Renew has helped divert more than 60 metric tons of plastic waste from the ocean or landfills.

I am told that the Crystal Palace Snap is made with D3O Crystalex, and it feels like a somewhat flexible yet tough material that is good for 13 feet of drop protection. By the way, it has an antimicrobial treatment, and is MagSafe wireless charging compatible.

I think you can see in the pic how transparent it is, so much so that it is practically invisible. It is also very, very slim as well.

You can get the Crystal Palace Snap on the ZAGG website for $49.99.

Our Review of the ZAGG Gear4 Copenhagen for the iPhone 14 Pro Max

The Copenhagen case is made from the same D3O materials that I have spoken about already, but I have to admit it is way more flexible. It is good enough for 13 feet worth of drop protection, and looks to be made for all kinds of occasions.

The Copenhagen also has that antimicrobial treatment, and made with some sustainable materials as well. It is also wireless charging compatible, and I think what really makes it unique is its pattern. You can see how it kind of ripples like waves of the ocean on the shore of…Copenhagen. Is that how it got its name?

Anyway, you can get the Copenhagen case on the ZAGG site for about $39.99.

Our Review of the ZAGG Gear4 Brooklyn Snap for the iPhone 14 Pro Max

Well, this isn’t the Crystal Palace Snap, but it is the Brooklyn Snap, and it can survive a drop of 13 feet. It is also made up of D3O materials, antimicrobial treatment, and is MagSafe compatible, and it is made with Vegan Leather and Sustainable Materials.

Yes, you can see the material near the camera hole and know that it is Vegan leather. The rest of it has that wavy pattern that makes it easy to grip and hard to slip. The inside of the case has this weird almost velvety kind of material that probably does something, but I’m not certain what.

This is another ZAGG product that offers to “plant a tree with every purchase”, and it can be purchased on the ZAGG website for a price of $59.99.

Our Review of the ZAGG Gear4 Milan for the Google Pixel 7

And now for the last of the smartphone cases that we will review today, the Milan, with this model made for the Google Pixel 7. I will start by saying the version you see in the image here is very clear, and it can protect drops at 13 feet.

Now, it has the antimicrobial coating as well as the D3O material with a very slim design. Also in the design is the sides, which are very ribbed so you can hold it in your hand without any fear of slipping.

This time, I’m not going to quote a price for this. Let’s just say that the price I found was so low that I thought it was some kind of Black Friday deal. If you want to see if it is as low as you think, head on over to the ZAGG site to see for yourself.
