I’ve always been interested in improving my speed-reading, and I am pleased to say that a new program known as Spritz is there for Samsung devices.
Here are some interesting things that you might not know about speed-reading. First, the average reader can do about 220 words a minute. Second, a lot of time is wasted because our eyes are moving constantly back-and-forth. The back-and-forth isn’t enough to slow down ones speed, but it apparently doesn’t help ones comprehension.
The Spritz allows you to look at what you are reading one word at a time, which allows zipping through at 1,000 words per minute. Yeah, it really is that fast. You can polish off a novel in a few hours.
Granted, I haven’t had a chance to try this out for myself, but you can check out my Source to see it for yourself. I’ve always had a problem with losing concentration and not following what I am reading.
