Rolling Square inCharge XL and inCharge XS Charging Cable Reviews

April 2, 2025 By Techno_Mark Leave a Comment

Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

I would say that it has been a while since we reviewed a Rolling Square product, but the last time was 2 years ago, so…I guess it has been a while. It depends on your definition of “a while”.

Rolling Square inCharge XS Review

The inCharge XS is one of those products that everyone needs, because it is a charging cable. Yeah, you might have a charging cable that comes with your phone, is yours a 4 in 1 keyring?

Yeah, this is very cool, as one end has a Lightning connector with a USB-C option. Then the other one is a USB-C and USB-A. So if you have an iPhone, like after the iPhone 4, you could use it as a charger. And then you can charge this with USB-C and USB-A port, and it is great to have.

About the only downside to this is how small it is. I mean, it’s not really good for plugging it in the wall, and you would need an adapter. The upside is the fast charging, as it goes to 240W to 27W Apple Fast Charging.

Still, I like the way it folds up magnetically, and is great to have something really fits well on a keychain so you don’t have to remember your charging cord. You can get it on the Rolling Square website for about $29.90.

Rolling Square inCharge XL Review

So, this is the inCharge XL, and it is much longer than the XS at 2 meters (6.6 feet). It isn’t as compact as the XS, but it has this tubular (like, it’s like a tube) case to store it in.

As far as the ends are concerned, it has the USB-C and Lightning cable on one end, and the USB-A and USB-C on the other end. It can handle a 100W charging and 27W of Apple’s Fast Charging ability.

I have to admit that I had a hard time describing the way the cord is on this. It is not rubberized, but it feels like something with cloth. If you want it, you can get it on the Rolling Square site for about $34.90.

Rolling Square Lanyard Strap Review

Yeah, I had this strap that came with the inCharge XL and inCharge XS, and I had to admit that I didn’t really expect it. I thought it was just kind of a bonus, like when a company sends me a stick with their logo. As it turns out, it is a product that Rolling Square actually makes.

As it also turns out, my microphone trouble really got bad before the end of the episode. I didn’t find this out until I was editing the video, and I am going to have to put that in my review of this particular microphone.

This strap features a special mechanism that can integrate magnets and secure joints, so you can detach your keys and such. Now I kind of wish I had some better video footage of it, but hey. It does detach easily and reattach even more easily.

You can get it on the Rolling Square website for $39.90.

Facts About The Company

According to the company website, Rolling Square is a group of lifehackers. Personally, I’m kind of sick of the term “lifehack”, because I think that the guy who creates a lifehack thinks he’s a little too superior, honestly. It is pretty clear that their products “remove the barrier between people and technology”, as these charging cables and this afterthought lanyard can do that, not gonna lie.

What Does This Company Make?

In addition to these very unique charging cables, the company makes some really great power banks, wireless chargers, and wall charger. Then there was the Aircard.

Maybe I Want It, But Is There Anything Else Like It? Maybe For A Lower Price? Please?

I mean, do I really want to talk about charging cords? I mean, I have reviewed them before. You could look it up, but I don’t really see any charging cord that is as versatile as that of the Rolling Square inCharge. As for the Lanyard, I don’t really have much experience reviewing those.
