Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
So, while I was at CES this year, I happened to pass the Klydoclock. When I saw this, I couldn’t believe how cool it was, and now, I have one for my own to review.
In case you might wonder why in the world you might need a clock, then may I remind you of time where everyone had a clock on their wall, or even one of those towering grandfather clocks. I can tell you that this one is made to be more of a medium sized version of those grandfather clocks, and it has that cool hourly chime, not to mention the cool ticking.
The Klydoclock has something that your grandfather’s clock doesn’t have, which is animations. Looping animations called Klydos, created by artists all around the world.
You can control the animations with the included remote, and I’m guessing that they change on a regular basis. By the way, I forgot to mention that the remote is powered by USB, so there is no batteries. I forgot to mention that in my video.
The set-up was pretty simple. All that is required is setting up your Wi-Fi network, but you might have issues putting in the password, as it is kind of weird interface with this remote. From there, you register, which I had a bit of a problem, and this was one of those unplug and power up and it works situations.
Just to let you know, you do have to keep it plugged in. Other than that, I could see no drawbacks. If you want to get this for yourself, head on over to the Klydoclock site and pay $329.00 for it in Dawn Oak, Twilight Walnut, and Midnight Ebony.
Facts About The Company
