I have to admit that this particular WiTrack, a 3D motion sensor for tracking a person inside a house. I suppose it can describe as a Kinect for a whole house, and I like that.
The WiTrack uses a 3D motion sensor that uses radio waves instead of Wi-Fi, and the tracking has a lower latency that can track the motions in 3D from all over the house. This allows it to see through walls, and you can see in a video below after the jump how it tracks someone. What I like is that people can do some interesting things, like wave a hand to light the lights.
In short, this WiTrack could easily be implemented into every home, thus making every home…smarter. It really is very interesting how this could change our lives, and make a modern home as different as a home from the Middle Ages. Yeah, I think it could be that groundbreaking.
