I have seen a lot of films that were day to night shots. You know, those films that are supposed to take place at night, but are pretty obvious that there was at night. I think that most of us associate infrared see-in-the-dark shots with that green look, but imagine seeing something that you filmed in the dark, but with actual colors.
This is what the Komamura has created with the Falcon Eye KC-2000. The 720p camera allows for filming in color in dark settings, and it produces some interesting effects. I’m just going to just recommend that you click on my Source to see the footage, as it is in color and looks kind of new.
I would imagine that it is going to introduce a new world of photography to the world. So far, there is no word on when the KC-2000 will be available or the price tag, but it is probably going to be up there.
