Yesterday, I covered the Podo camera, which can stick to the wall and allow you to take pictures of yourself. It looks like the SOLOSHOT2 takes selfies to the video level.

For some reason, I have been seeing a lot of ads for SOLOSHOT that precede these YouTube videos that I have been watching. Today, I didn’t hit “Skip Ad”, but I like the idea of a base and tag system that allows a video camera to follow you.

There is a video of it on the website with someone putting on a Tag and then setting up the base camera on a tripod. Not only that, but you can pair your Tag with multiple Bases so you can shoot from different angles. This allows you to tack the closest, fastest, or whoever has pressed the Tag’s “follow me” button.
