Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Oh man, it seems like there are some companies that we review products for all the dang time, and then others…we just lose track of. Such is the case with HyperX, because we’ll usually see them at a gaming conventions, or a tech convention, and go from there. But I checked, and it looks like it has been since 2016 since we have reviewed a HyperX product.

Our Review of the HyperX Cloud III Gaming Headset

All right, let’s start with this great gaming headset, the Cloud III. It may not be wireless, but does it have to be? I would say no. So you, can plug it in to your devices with 3.5 mm, and then there is USB A with optional USB C plugin, if you wish.

Anyway, this is one heck of a headset, as it can accomodate just about anything, and I’m talking about PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mac, and Mobile. Should I assume the Switch 2?

Let’s talk about the sound, it has 53 mm drivers, made for great audio, and there is some great signature memory foam in the headband and ear cushions. Oh, and if you are playing with friends, there is a 10 mm microphone, with noise-cancelling, with LED mic-mute indicator.

If you want it, you can head to the HyperX website and pay $99.99 for it. However, at the time that I am writing this article, I’m seeing it marked down to $77.99.

Our Review of the HyperX PulseFire Fuse Wireless Gaming Mouse

All right, now it is time to review a gaming mouse, and the Pulsefire Fuse has some really cool features. Now, most gaming mice that I’ve seen have a lot of color on them, but this doesn’t appear to be the case here.

First of all, it has a symmetical shape made for ambidextrous use, and it is also very light at 75 grams. Oh, I should probably mention that it is compatible with PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. It also has 85 hours worth of power on a single AAA battery.

Now, unliked that Cloud III, this one is wireless. In fact, all I needed to do is plug in the USB dongle, and it worked right out of the box. You can see that in the video if you don’t believe me, but you should know that I forgot to test its Bluetooth capability.

Facts About The Company

When I go to the company, I’ll often see something that says: “HyperX-We’re All Gamers”. This company is apparently the choice of many gamers, professional and those who just play at home.

What Does This Company Make?

Well, they make headsets, and they have shipped 20 million of them. They have also made many keyboards, like 1 million of them. They also make microphones, about 1 million of those. Normally, I include a link here where I’ve reviewed them in the past, but it has been so long, I’m not certain if those products are still being made.
