Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
I will have to say that it isn’t often that I review a game, at least one that isn’t a video game by nature. This is a handheld game that doesn’t need a battery, and I hesitate to call it old-school. Kanoodle is one of those games that feels like it is from the eighties, because I’m not certain if you could do Kanoodle without too much tech.
So, what is Kanoodle? It is a plastic box that snaps open, and in it are several plastic noodles. They aren’t noodles in the sense that they are pasta, but they are these linked together plastic balls. The goal of this is to arrange these noodles into the grid so it is a 5 x 11 rectangle.
I can’t help but get Tetris vibes when looking at this thing, and part of it is the noodles are in different colors and comes in weird shapes. And like Tetris, it is nearly impossible to get these strange-shaped things to form a perfect shape that you want.
I didn’t cover this in the video, but there are over 200 puzzles. The game asks you to set up the noodles in a certain way, and you fill it in with the remaining noodles. You can do 2D shapes, as well as 3D shapes. I’ve heard that you can do a pyramid shape, but I don’t know how to do it.
However, as distractions go, this one is a pretty inexpensive one. There are so many variations of Kanoodle as well.

Out of curiosity, I was trying to see if there was some app for Kanoodle, and I found several that look like imitators.
