Well, I have been doing a lot of these reviews of ROCCAT products, and I actually reviewed the ROCCAT KONE before. You can imagine my excitement when I learned that I have the opportunity to try out the ROCCAT KONE XP Air.
I’m not certain what all the buttons do, but there are sure a whole heck of a lot of them. With my one hand on the ROCCAT KONE XP Air, I have at least 14 things that I can click. Some of those buttons are some interesting forward and backward buttons.
You can definitely see how the ROCCAT KONE glows. If there is one thing that we have learned from anything gaming is there always has to be colored flickering lights going on. In this case, there is one button that can control it.
In case you didn’t know, this is a wireless mouse, so naturally, there is a wireless dongle that you can use. Oh, it can do Bluetooth as well. What is interesting is it also comes with a USB cable the you can plug directly into the mouse and then into your computer. The charging cable is super lightweight and made of some PhantomFlex material which is very convenient to have.
What is really interesting, and something that I don’t think I’ve ever seen with any ROCCAT gaming mouse before it, is this charging cradle. Yeah, if you want to charge up this guy (which already has up to 100 hours worth of battery life), you just slap it in this thing and be on your way.
Yes, it is all very well and good, and available for about $169.99 on the company website.
