Having just reviewed the T51 p from Beyerdynamic on headphone day last Friday, I also had a chance to try out the A20 Premium Headphone Amplifier along with it.
I would like to let you know that I am no audiophile, and so I don’t really know the difference between good audio and bad audio. Think of it this way: a baby might enjoy the Baby Genius film series, but an experienced filmmaker will find them completely unwatchable. I can say that I find them to be very good, for what it is worth.
So here is what I know: it is set up for high impedance headphones, which means that if you want to sit around all day and listen to your headphones with this amplifier, you go right ahead. The A20 is set up with “first-class circuitry” and it is “resonance free”.
In addition to this, there is not one, but two 6.35 mm headphone ports. This product makes me want to discover all kinds of audiophile tech terms just to describe it. Of course, if you want it, one of the cheapest places that I can find it is on Amazon for $808.01. Yeah, it’s pretty far up there, but so will your music experience.
