Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)
Well, we managed to get a hold of two new products from our old friends at Edifier, and here’s what we have to say about them.
Our Review of the Edifier Hecate GX Wired Gaming Headphones with Microphone
So, I will tell you that these are wired headphones, which means that you will, of course, need a wire to use it. Fortuantely, all the wires are included. So you can connect it to your USB-A port, or your USB-C port, or you can do aux-to-aux possibility.
You can see in the image that it has lights on the ears. Now, I believe that this works if it is connected via USB, but probably not with the aux-to-aux. There is a button on the back which will change the color on the lights.
The earcups have 50mm titanium diaphragm drivers with Hi-Res audio, and there are some great leatherette ear cups for all-day comfort. Oh, and there is this really cool pull-out microphone, in case you want to do some chatting while gaming.
If you want to get this, head on over to the Edifier site and pay $149.99 for it.
Our Review of the Edifier Bluetooth ES850NB Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones
So, now it’s time to get into the wireless headphones. Sure, you can use them for gaming, assuming that your gaming system has access to Blueooth.
There is Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio wirelss, and there is -45dB active noise cancellation. These have 40 mm dynamic drivers that have a lot of kickin’ bass. I can totally testify to that, I tell you! They have that Active Noise Cancellation that you can turn off and on and get a verbal warning of that too.
And now for the stat you have been waiting for: the power. You get 92 hours of ANC off and 53 hours of ANC on. I’ve also told that it has fast charging at 15 minutes, and total of 11.5 hours ANC Off and 7.5 hours ANC On.
Other features are personalized sound with music mode, spatial sound, and game mode. The ear-cups have all-day comfort, and there is a multipoint connection for two Bluetooth devices.
If you want to get in on this, head over to the Edifier site and pay $169.99.
Facts About The Company
Edifier is a company that does some very great audio products for technological innovation and design excellence. Yeah, I got that from the website, and it has definitely really grown.
What Does This Company Make?
I’m seeing a lot of speakers made for the bookshelf, computer, and a lot of TV/Media as well. This is in addition to their headphones and earbuds.
