Okay, I know that there has been a craze for 3D vision, and perhaps you as wondering what is 3D audio? Well, if you had the Hooke, then you would know.

The Hooke is a pair of Bluetooth wireless headphones that have a microphone in each earbud, also known as Binaural recording. This allows the user to record off their camera and hear the sound all around him/her. Then you can upload this video, and it apparently sounds better.

I say “apparently”, because I haven’t tried the Hooke and don’t know what it sounds like in 3D audio. You can find some samples of it on its official Kickstarter site, and assuming that no sound has been tampered with, it sounds very good.

So, is the Hooke going to change headphones as we know it? It did make its $100,000 funding goals, let’s see what the future holds.
