Introduction (Does It Do What It Should)

Oh yes, we have reported on Gunnar Optiks products before, and yeah, this won’t be the last time, I’m sure. In fact, they sent me two pairs of glasses, but I’m holding off an reviewing the second one until I get the clear, and if you want to know about the second, I give a verbal preview in the video. These are the Hayward.

Sure, there isn’t much I can really do when I’m doing a glasses review, but Gunnar Optiks are more than just glasses, as these block out the harmful blue light and 100 percent UV light. They also have that G-Shield Premium lens coating which makes them anti-reflective and smudge-resistant.

I’m told that they are the Hayward because they are “inspired by California’s tech hubs”, and I had to look up the whole Hayward area in California. This is part of the Trace Collection, and I’m wondering if we really have reviewed something from the Trace Collection before.

I couldn’t help but think that the glasses that I usually wear look just like the ones I usually wear. I’m told that it has a “modern rectangular frame that blends subtle retro flair with cutting-edge eye protection”.

In case you haven’t figured out by the company name, this company loves eyewear. Like I said before, I first saw them in 2009, but they were actually founded two decades ago. They were founded on 4 key principles like visual ergonomics, innovation, design, and culture.

What Does This Company Make?

I could not believe what kind of eyewear that they make. I already mentioned in my past review of Overwatch, but I was surprised at how much involvement they have in the gaming community. They also have this pair called the Loop.

We also reviewed these three pairs.

I mean they have some pair of glasses devoted to so many things, more than I can name. I full intend to review more of their products in the near future, if they allow it.
